That is, students will not only grasp the main message of each individual book of the Old Testament, but they will understand how that message contributes to the overall message of the Bible. Emphasis will be given to tracing the ow of redemptive history from the beginning of time until the inter-testamental period, showing how the entire Old Testament points to, prepares the way for, and is fulfilled by Jesus the Messiah.

The Book of James • Thursdays @ 6:30pm
Triumph Church - Flint Campus (beginning 10/25/18)
As the church lives now in the twenty-first-century world, the preacher of the Gospel could find no more pertinent message for his people than the Epistle of James. The Epistle of James is one of the first pieces of New Testament literature given to the church. James, the blood brother of our Lord Jesus Christ, was the pastor of the church at Jerusalem and commanded an incredible following. The Book of James is filled with practical wisdom for Christians, encouraging Christians to act like Christians and live a life that proves the gospel is at work.
